Every year, volunteer
adult leaders in the
Long Cane District, of
the Blue Ridge Council
come together for one
night to honor the
wonderful work that each
of these dedicated
individuals provide to
the youth of our
communities in the
Abbeville and Greenwood
counties of South
Carolina. |
|
|
|
We honor those folks in
our communities whose
commitment, dedication,
and passion to make our
communities a place
where positive growth in
our young people can
nurture and grow in a
enjoyable and safe
environment. It
takes the effort of many
people to come together
for a common goal and
make things happen.
That positive experience
is why we come together
in January of each year
to help celebrate what
is good about our
communities and our
country --- our
young people! |

It is on the one night
that we celebrate our
volunteer adult leaders
and the young people in
our community whom they
help each and every day
by being involved in
Scouting! Our next
annual celebration of
Scouting will be
January 14, 2010. It is a
night that you don't
want to miss !!! |
