Weekday camping at Camp Epworth during June of each year. Action oriented. Involves games, crafts, skills, nature, archery and, BB gun instruction. This past year, we had 75 Cub Scouts from Abbeville and Greenwood counties in upstate South Carolina participate in a week-long fun-filled "CSI"-themed adventure jammed-pack with lots of fun and exciting things to do. 

The Camp was under the direction of Debbie Holder, who was the 2008 Long Cane District Cub Scout Day Camp Director.  The Cub Scout Day Camp Program Director was Lou Marino, who also serves as the Long Cane District's Activities and Civic Programs Committee Chair.  Isaac Shaffer is the District Chairman for the Long Cane District.  The District Executive for the Long Cane District is now Andrew Reale.  Paul Sharp, former District Executive of the Long Cane District for two years, served as the DE during the 2008 Cub Scout Day Camp (Paul is now Senior District Executive for the Reedy Falls District of the Blue Ridge Council, BSA).
