MEETING DATES CHANGED

Due to the holiday schedules, the dates for several District events and meetings have been re-scheduled.  The November Roundtable, The District Committee Meeting, and the District Commissioner's Staff Meeting have been re-scheduled for the THIRD Thursday of November --- November 20^th.  We will have the meeting at the usual location at the usual time (Main Street United Methodist Church's Social Hall at 7:00 PM).  The November Roundtable Meeting is very important, because this is our Annual Business Meeting where we discuss plans for the upcoming year and nominate who we wish to serve on the District Committee.  If you ever wanted to help out on the District level for A-N-Y position, please come to this all-important meeting on November 20^th.  Chartered Organizational Representatives are encouraged to attend the Annual Business Meeting of the Long Cane District.

In December, the meeting will be held in the Main Street United Methodist Church's Gymnasium, instead of the Social Hall.  This will be our annual "Holiday Social."  Please bring the finger food or other item assigned to you.  The fun begins at a NEW TIME ---  6:00 PM.  We then have the opportunity to join members of Main Street UMC to hear the excellent Greenwood High Choir perform at 7:00 PM in the Social Hall (optional).

POPCORN MONEY DUE

Please be aware that the Trail's End Popcorn money is due in to the Blue Ridge Council Service Center by December 1^st without penalty.  After this date, a late fee penalty will be assessed against account.  Please send ONE check to the Blue Ridge Council Service Center made out payable to the BLUE RIDGE COUNCIL, BSA.
